Lottery Winner Notification
Diversity Visa lottery applicants selected are notified by mail between May and July of the next year, following DV Online entry. Lottery entrants selected are provided further instructions, including information on fees connected with immigration to the U.S. Those selected in the random drawing are NOT notified by email. Those individuals NOT selected will NOT receive any notification. The Diversity Visa Lottery Instructions "Selection of Applicants" section provides information about the DV timeframe and process.

WILL ENTRANTS WHO ARE NOT SELECTED BE INFORMED?
Starting with DV-2010, all entrants, including those NOT selected, will be able to check the status of their entry through the E-DV website and find out if their entry was or was not selected. Entrants should keep their own confirmation page information from the time of their entry (October 2, 2008, to December 1, 2008) until they may check the status of their entry online. Status information for DV-2010 will be available online from July 1, 2009, until June 30, 2010. All notification letters are sent to the address indicated on the entry within five to seven months from the end of the application period.

Ukoliko ste uspešno popunili molbu na kraju će vam se pojaviti strana na kojoj će biti ime i prezime podosioca molbe, datum
roĎenja, zemlja na osnovu koje se kvalifikuje, i datum i vreme podnošenja prijave. Ova potvrda o uspešno popunjenoj prijavi
može se odštampati iz veb brauzera. Od 1. jula 2009. moćiće te da proverite status veše molbe na istoj veb strani unošenjem
jedinstvenog broja, koji vam je dodeljen nakon prijave molbe i unošenjem ličnih podataka.
Na confirmation page, koju sam isprintala nakon prijave sam pronasla i sledeci pasus:
You must retain your confirmation number in order to check your entry status using the internet. You may check back on this site at anytime between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010 to determine whether your entry was selected for further processing in the 2010 DV Lottery. You will be required to enter your confirmation number in combination with other personal information in order to check on your entry status.
Selectees will also receive a letter through their contry's postal service notifying them of their selection...
